John Felix Green (Johnny) peacefully passed away surrounded by family on the afternoon of Monday, October 8, 2018.
Johnny was born in Kingston, Jamaica on January 9th, 1958 to Leonard and Stephanie Green. He met his wife Donna in 1981 and after 5 years of courtship, got married in 1986. They migrated to Miami, Florida and later had their two children, Leslie-Ann and John Christopher.
John began his career at Air Jamaica, Kingston in 1975 and remained with the company after migrating to Miami. His career with the airline industry continued with companies such as Virgin Atlantic, BWIA and most recently with Larpakan Airways, where he worked for over 15 years.
John enjoyed spending time with in his family and friends. His engaging and dynamic personality allowed him to connect with people from all walks of life. His loyalty and trustworthiness fostered many long lasting friendships. His great advice, words of encouragement and humorous stories always lifted spirits and brought happiness.
John is survived by his wife of 32 years, two children, his parents, siblings Patricia, Leonard (Freddy), Claudine, and a host of family and many friends.
