I just found out about my 6th grade best friend Jamison. We have been in touch since 2003 on and off. We sent many hysterical voicemessages over the years reciting Raiders Of The Lost Ark dialogue and it was always laughing that brought us together. I cannot believe looking through all his past messages, it's incredible to find this out 6 months later. 😢  My heart is with you all and I for one am devastated 💔 😢  Keep on laughing while driving as fast as possible now! Love you forever Jamison!

Jamie was very loved by all, but he and his mom Sue had an extra special bond. My heart goes out to sweet Sue and Jamie's whole family. He sure will be missed.

I have only met Jamie a few times in person, but felt like I knew him a lot of my life, from my husband, Adam's countless stories about his "roommate Jamison." My favorite being when he traded Adam's milk for beer. Jamison's thoughtfulness and generosity at sending us Christmas gifts and sending messages to Adam was neverending. I'd often hear my husband laugh out loud and would ask what he was laughing at and he would say, "Oh a message from Jamison." They have countless inside jokes and sayings, and I could always count on him to make my husband laugh and I will always remember how he  made Adam's life fuller and brighter. Thank you Jamison. Over the last several days, I’ve been flooded with so many great (and a few crazy) memories…enjoy those suite seats on the main straightaway…miss you already, Cuz!

 Jamie!  Remembering when he was a wee tot in my Sunday School Class at Stroudsburg United Methodist Church, impish yet one who actually listened; he remembered songs from his long-ago days in the "cherub" choir I directed.  We were Facebook friends later in life, and he typed the words to one of those songs to me.  So sentimental! 

My heart goes out to his family, especially my dear friend Susan Sommers Bergman, his mother.

Jamie was huge racing fan. He and Michael bylsma attended many races over the years. Possible highlight for Jamison was traveling to France for 24 Hours of LeMans.
He also loved music -he enjoyed singing in choir at Stroudsburg United Methodist Church.

Jamison was son of Steven Sommers and Susan Bergman.  Grandparents pre deceased  him - Lou and Gert Sommers.Jamison  had two brothers Adam Sommers and step brother Dustin Bergman. He was wonderful son father brother and friend.
He attended The Winchendon School in Massachusetts and Florida Atlantic University.’
After college joined family business SRC Textiles- he relocated to Coral Gables Florida to work daily with his father Steven Sommers.
Jamison loved living in Coral Gables - had found  “his place”.

Dear Family, and Friends of Jamison,

I am at a loss for words upon hearing the news of his passing. It is with a heavy heart that I offer my deepest condolences to his family and loved ones during this difficult time.

Jamison was such a kind, funny, and caring friend, and it is difficult to imagine a world without him in it. His passion for cars and music was evident to anyone who knew him, and I remember fondly the times we spent discussing the beautiful cars he took photos of as he walked or drove pass.

It is difficult to come to terms with the fact that he is no longer with us, but his memory will live on forever in our hearts. He will always be remembered as a kind, funny, caring friend who left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
