James Robert Pendergrass

James (Jim) Pendergrass passed away on January 14th, 2023.

Jim had a successful career in sales at Bell South. But overall, he always said his biggest accomplishment was raising his four daughters.

A huge University of North Carolina Tarheels fan, Jim loved to watch his favorite school compete. He was an avid fantasy football player (he even made it to the playoffs in 13 of his 15 leagues). If he wasn’t watching football, you could find him playing poker, spending time with family, or planning his next adventure with his loving girlfriend, Ricki Rothenberg Moskow.

Jim is survived by his four daughters, Frances, Jamie, Brandy, and Virginia, his sister, Cindy, and his eight grandchildren – Jaeda, Maceo, Ozzy, Isabella, Jacob, Gina, Arya, and Abigail - whom he loved deeply.

A funeral service will be held in his honor on Saturday, January 21st, 2023, at 10:30 AM at Caballero Rivero Westchester, 8200 SW 40th St, Miami, FL 33155. Following the visitation will be a committal service at 1:00 PM at Caballero Rivero Woodlawn South,11655 SW 117 Avenue, Miami, FL, 33186.
