Gloria Stivanelli passed away on Thursday evening at the age of 91 at West Baptist Kendall Hospital in Miami, FL
Gloria was born in Twin Rocks, PA, the daughter of Emil and Alice Stivanelli, and raised in the coal mining towns of Central PA before moving to Highland Park, New Jersey. As a young teenager she attended Highland Park High School where she became interested in sports. She was an exceptional softball player, could bat left or right handed, and also played basketball. Gloria loved Florida and was a resident for 50 years.
She was employed as a Purchasing Agent throughout her career. She enjoyed traveling, cruises, watching cooking shows, cooking, music, word games, and was an avid sports fan of baseball and football. She enjoyed life and loved her family.
Gloria loved God and was a parishioner of our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, in Miami, FL
Gloria was predeceased by her lifelong and dearest beloved friend, Victoria Garibaldi, her siblings, Mark, Emil, Joseph, Albeena , Emma, Pearl, Eleanor, and Ernest.
Gloria is survived by her brother, Eugene Stivanelli, nieces, nephews, and the Garibaldi family.
