I'm just going to let my thoughts flow... somebody once asked me what I feared most in life and my reply was having my parents pass away before me, because growing up I never really imagined a life without my parents there for me. I imagined my life with both of my parents there for me to watch me grow up and support me throughout my life. I imagined my dad having the talk with my future husband and walking me down the aisle and giving me away to be somebody elses problem. I imagined my parents growing old together and being grandparents to children that I would eventually end up having despite saying I don't want to have any. I imagined a lot of things... but sometimes life throws your biggest fear at you and you have to stay strong and face it. This past year has been a struggle, my dad was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer last February and at that time I knew what that meant, my dad fought hard but I could see all the pain he was in, not just physically, but also emotionally. My biggest prayer was for my dad to no longer be in pain, for my dad to feel loved and supported throughout his very last breath, for him to know that I loved him with all of my heart and lastly for him to know I would be ok and letting him let go of part of that emotional pain I knew he was having trying to imagine my life without him, just like I didn't want to. I can say today that all of my prayers were answered and although I lost my dad, I gained my biggest guardian angel. I love you papi, thank you for everything ❤

This year started with uncertainty of what it would bring. Yesterday at 8:05am Gilbert was in the presence of our Lord. I have experienced many pains but this one is by far one of the most painful. I'm rejoicing that my husband of 30 years who has been fighting pancreatic cancer is finally resting pain free rejoicing with our first born and many loved ones who left this temporary world to eternal life. It hasn't even been 24 hrs and we miss him so much. Many ups and downs but no matter what we would be going through or challenges we confronted we stayed together in good, bad and not giving up on our family. Thank you babe for your unconditional love to our children and I. Until we meet again my love! I know I will have moments of tears and gasping for air but this too shall pass. With time it will get easier but you will never be forgotten and will remain in my heart forever. Thank you Abba because every step of the way in this battle we have seen Your love and blessings. We have beat this mountain. For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.

Gibi was always brutally HONEST! He did not take into account people's feelings, he said things without a filter.  We learned not too long ago that he truly did not understand SARCASM, which explains alot!!!  He LOVED his wife Margie, and children Josh, Tati, and Sabrina.  He was always there for them especially for his Natasha.  He will be incredibly missed by all!  

We have gained an Angel in Heaven watching over All of Us!
