Gerald Laub

Gerald “Jerry” Laub, 90, passed away peacefully Tuesday, January 12, 2016. He was born July 19, 1925 in Newark, New Jersey. He was a veteran of WW II and a graduate of University of Miami and a lifelong Hurricane football fan. He was predeceased by the love of his life, Eleanor, in 2009 after 58 years of marriage. They were founding members of Temple Zion. After Jerry retired he spent many happy days as a volunteer at Miami Metro Zoo, especially the Aviary.

Jerry is survived by his two daughters Monica (Jim) Kleb and Diane Taub, his brother Al and his Grandsons Brian Kleb, Jason (Arielle) Kleb, Lawrence (Amanda) Taub and Stuart (Alison) Taub and his three great-grandchildren Julia and Ethan Taub and Annabelle and future baby Taub. We would like to thank all the wonderful people at the Palace of Kendall, and especially his aide, Ana.
