My heartfelt condolences to you and your family. Gabe was so sweet and kind, always thinking of others. We talked many times about his passion to build a community of affordable homes for the less fortunate and his passion and empathy for others always showed. He will be missed.

I want to write my eulogy on here because I don’t know if I can speak and it was important for me to express this:

For those of you who don’t know me, I’m Annette, Gabe’s sister. If you know him as Gaby, then you’ll know we were the best of friends. 

I just wanted to express how important it is to pay attention to the signs. Everyone who knew my brother, knew he was a happy and talkative guy! 

Once he started to spiral, he showed signs of not being himself, he started hating those he loved and towards the end, he was isolated from the world.  He pushed most of his loved ones away.

Mental health is something we don’t take serious enough. If you’re fortunate to remain in their lives, it is so important that you help them in any capacity and not apease to them, despite what that consequence may be on you. Because either way, you can lose them forever. 

Moving forward, I hope many of you dealing with people you may know with mental illness can learn something from my brother’s experience and help them in any way. Don’t ignore the signs. Those people are suffering. If you love and care for them, do something!

If you yourself are mentally struggling, please take this as a sign to get the help you need and look towards your loved ones as a support system to help in your process. 

Gaby I love you forever and will see you on the other side, please have a bowl of matzoh ball soup waiting for me.

He was very impressive with taking any obstacles and turned it into an opportunity and ran with it. With a heart of gold he wanted to see everyone achive their dreams. I wish more people were just as thoughtful and loving as he was.  I told a lot of friends about him throught my life from funny stories and mentioning him when we talk about succesful people we know and how they got to where they are at.  He is one of the friends that I knew a lifetime and will miss a lifetime.

Gabby was always up for any adventure. Even ones that were not really thought through and sper of the moment. My friend Leduan and I decided one random night over the phone that we were going camping the next morning, we made some phone calls to invite some friends.  Gabby was super excited. We all learned some important things on that camping trip. even though the rest of the USA go camping in the summer, Florida is different. Just don't do it, the heat alone is intense and you feel like sausages cooking in the oven all night, it was so hot. The Mosquitos were in full force ready for war. Gabby's favorite part of that trip was watching me go full worrior mode on those Mosquitos in the tent and sort of scaring him every time I yelled at anyone who left the tent flap open too long. 
I remembered how happy he was on this trip dispite the sevreal reasons to feel misrable, he focused on reconnecting with old friends and meeting my friends.  He always looked on the bright side of things, even when there were so many thing to be disappointed in.

To my Facebook friend ❤️ and former coworker, I  truly am sorry for your great loss. I remember your brother and knew you were both a blessing to one another. If I could drive to Miami I would just to hug you and show you how much I care. Heaven has another guardian angel to watch over you. God bless you and your family today and always

Gabe it’s difficult to imagine a world without your smile and light .  All of the talks we had and all of the visions about Tiny house communities and the peoples lives we could change with your vision.  I will miss our talks, and your laugh, rest in peace my friend, rest in peace.

Gabe was someone who I considered to be my best friend, more like my brother. He gave me advice, taught me to get out of my shell and about life in general. He is actually one of the reasons I was able to ask out the girl I liked who im now engaged too. I will greatly miss him and will look fondly back on the memories and life lessons he taught me. Love ya and miss you bro.

I will forever be your Sabrini. Please guide me to the right direction in your footsteps and help my mom, Matt and I to keep your legacy going. We love you so much and we want to make you proud.

Coffee Beanery was a huge hang out spot when Gaby and Annette were kids. The place closed and we never found another one until we visited Chicago. So, we surprised him with his favorite childhood coffee drink.

We have lost a kind heart and he will be missed.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I hope and pray Gabriel is at peace. He reached out to me about a year ago, with wonderful vivid memories of his time in my second grade class. What a blessing when a student reaches out and tells me I made a difference in their life. That is a gift! You will be in my prayers. I live in Orlando, but have family buried at Lakeside, so will pay my respects the next time I visit. Susan Conviser-Mattucci🙏

Oh my sweet baby. You always told me to please take good care of Roro if anything happens to you. I never thought this will be the case, but I will make sure that Roro is the most loved Ro of Ros and Floof of Fluffs
