June 4, 1922 – April 26, 2018
Frances was born in New York and grew up in the Bronx. She was predeceased by her husband Charles and was survived by her sons Steven (MaryLou) and Barry (Nancy).
She was a proud retiree after 30 years service with Miami-Dade County in finance administration.
During those years to relax from the trials and tribulations of government service as well as the years after, she indulged in knitting, crochet, and needlepoint.
The lasting results of those efforts are on display in the family home as well as in the homes of her friends and extended family members.
In her later years she developed an addiction to Indian bingo where she and her daughter-in-law and best friend MaryLou spent many an evening enduring a smoke filled room in pursuit of the elusive BINGO. While at Miami Jewish her zest for bingo did not wane as she became known as the Bingo Queen
The family would like to thank the staff of 3 Toppel Noth at Miami Jewish Health Systems who lovingly took care of Frances.
Donations in Frances’s memory can be made to Miami Jewish Health Systems Auxiliary by contacting Jenny Ray at 305.762.1382.
