With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Felipe Dominguez, who left us on April 9, 2025. Born in Cienfuegos, Cuba, on April 11, 1937, Felipe was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was known for his vibrant spirit, boundless love for family, and his many talents.
Felipe dedicated much of his life to the craft of watchmaking and jewelry, a profession that reflected his attention to detail and passion for precision. His work was admired by many, and his artistry left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of witnessing it.
Outside of his work, Felipe had a deep love for the joys of life. He was an avid baseball and boxing fan, always cheering on his favorite teams and athletes. His love of music was equally great; he enjoyed playing multiple instruments, especially the guitar, and could often be found singing songs that brought joy to all those around him.
Felipe’s legacy lives on in his loving family. He is survived by his devoted wife, Consuelo Vidaillet Dominguez, and his children, Jacqueline Dominguez, Cristina Dominguez Griffee, Marlene Chil, and Jorge Dominguez. He was a proud grandfather and great grandfather to Christopher Dominguez, Michael Barroso, Natalie Chil, Joseph Griffee, Isabel Griffee and Brynnleigh Barroso all of whom will carry his memory in their hearts forever.
Felipe’s memory will forever live on through the love he shared, the lives he touched, and the joy he brought into the world. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
A celebration of his life will be held at Caballero Rivero Woodlawn North (Little Havana) 3344 S.W. 8 Street, Miami, Florida 33135 from 5:00 P.M. to 11:00 P.M. on April 17, 2025.
