Cucho as he was known was born in Santiago de Cuba in the late 30’s as he grew up he learned from his father how to be a carpenter. His life would bring him to the U.S. where he lived in New York City’s Upper Westside. In the late 50’s, he soon joined the army and was stationed in Germany for several years. While on a leave to Spain he met his soulmate Marise (Segunda) Nuñez Lijon and they married. When he came back to New York from the army he had various jobs and then landed on what would be his life’s work in the Dry Cleaning business with several of his friends. Seeking a warmer climate for his children he came across the opportunity to purchase a Dry Cleaning business in Miami, that he named after his wife “Marise Laundry and Dry Cleaners” there is where he spent a large part of his life. He was a grand husband, outstanding father, a devoted grandfather/great grandfather. He will be immensely missed as he was a true family man in all senses and lived an honest and dutiful life.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years Marise Rodriguez and 3 Children, Marise Rodriguez Jr and Spouse Maria E. Homar, Eunice McCann and Spouse Peter R. McCann, and Esdras A Rodriguez Jr. and Spouse Karen Rodriguez. He also is survived by and 3 Sisters, 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild names in order of age, Abda Rodriguez, Alma Rodriguez, Alida Rodriguez, Dominic Rodriguez, Danny Rodriguez, Dimitri Rodriguez, Sarah McCann, Peter A. McCann, Jacob C. McCann, Alex Concepción and Milana E. McCann.
