He was the son of the great violinist Cav. Francesco Montelli of the Academy of Santa Cecilia who also formed part of "Il Quartetto di Roma" and the distinguished lady Luisa Bombelli.
He dedicated his entire life to his family for which he worked hard, achieving great success and respect everywhere he worked.
He was an extraordinary man full of virtues, being his soul and his actions the example of the great family man that he left for all of us to follow. He was the pillar that kept the whole family united, always ready to help, always present in the good and in the bad times. Indeed his passing has broken our hearts, we have lost our hero, our guide and our point of reference and it is so hard to deal with the pain that it causes us. But he has left us a rich legacy of fraternal unity and peace in the family, which will always continue to comfort us.
The following is an excerpt from a poem written by him to his wife Gabriella Montelli, (Chicha) when she passed away in 1996:
... "I trust in what they have taught us, that is; to return to live with those we have loved the most.
Let it be not an illusion, let it be not a chimera, if so, this long wait would be of no use". Enrico Montelli
Because he was a strong believer it comforts us to know that his faith will unite him eternally with his beloved "Chicha".
His five children :Joaquin Cocco, Daisy Cocco, Luigi Cocco, Maria Pia Montelli,Daughter
Francesco Montelli; his sister: Maria Montelli, along with his daughters in law, sons in law, nephews, nieces, grandchildren and great grandchildren ask you to pray for the eternal rest of the soul of Enrico Montelli deceased in the peace of the Lord.
