Mrs. Emma E. (Pujals) Vignau, age 97, of Miami, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2023. Emma was born in Santiago de Cuba on March 5th, 1926. She was raised on her family's estate in Juan Díaz, Sagua de Tánamo, and then studied in Havana. There, she met Oscar Vignau in 1955, and they were married a year later. In 1957, her twin daughters Beatriz and Cristina were born. After fleeing Cuba in 1961 due to the revolution, the family settled in New York City and, ultimately, Miami. An accomplished pianist and artist, Emma worked as an architectural draftsperson and medical graphic artist. Emma is survived by her two daughters, her son-in-law Jorge Martin, and her grandchildren Esteban, Rafael, and Francesca.
