Elizabeth "Lisi" Diaz

Lisi was born in Chicago, Illinois in 1976. She became an amazing wife in 2002 and mom in 2006, who would do anything for her family. She was a proud mother of Anabelle and Tony, and a loving wife to her husband Antonio (Tony) Diaz. Lisi was a devoted daughter to her parents Roberto and Milagros, and a marvelous big sister to Karina and Vanessa.

In September 2017, she was diagnosed with colorectal cancer. The next few years were rough with treatments and surgeries. But we got through it together as a family. Lisi never gave up and was always willing to try all her options, even if they had risks. She was a fighter.

On April 23, 2020 at 5:24 pm, she lost the battle against cancer. She put up a long, hard fight and is known and will forever be known as a hero to all of us. Lisi will be forever loved, cherished, and remembered by many.

Lisi was very loved. Everyone she shared with knew of her huge heart. She loved all those around her unconditionally. She trusted her faith even when times were hard. The cancer challenged her every day, but she would never give up. Her heart is with us every day to cherish. She is an angel in heaven who will always be with us.
