To David's Mother and Father.

Your son grew up coming to my house, plaiyng with my sons Jorge and Javier. He saw him grow up and become the good man he was. 
He was always loving and respectful to us.  Always smiling, always with a good nature.
We still have his Football picture, he dedicated one for me and one fo rmy wife Miate.  It is my understanding as my son Javier told us that David cared and loved us a lot. 
We communicated often as we had things in common, he always sent me a Happy Fathers day message. 

We have lived and shared every minute of these past two months with you in spirit, in prayers, in rosaries prayed for him. 

I can assure you that David won , with his good heart, a place in Heaven. He is today in a better world, closer to the Lord.

God Bless you and please know we are here for you as David was a member of my family and loved dearly.

David and I met when we both worked together over ten years ago. We were both young adults, not even in our twenties.

We shared a common interest in regards to the love of our country and wanting to serve our community by join law enforcement. David via the federal level, me via the municipal level. 

I’ll never forget once David and I went our separate ways and into our respective agencies, we continued to communicate via Facebook and shared a story or two of our experience. We reminisced a bit about our younger days at the airport where we once worked together. 

Although we both love what we became, I’d gladly give up my current position and rewind the clock to see and hangout with David once again. He was the brightest light inside the room. His energy resonated with everyone. His jokes brought you laughter and joy. His smile is unforgettable since it was always out for the world to see. 

D, when I received the news out of the blue, I was devastated brother. I hope you rest in piece for all eternity and my God with you along side him watch over your beautiful family. 

As we say in our field brother, we’ll hold the line from here.

Eureka! A saying that I still imagine you saying to me ! A memory that I will always remember because it was our special memory. Most of my high school memories are with you in them we had some great times. And even though in our adults years we didn’t see eachother much we still kept in contact and made it a point to see how eachother  was doing even if it was months that passed. You were a great friend. An amazing person and for that I’m so happy to have the honor of sayin i knew you . Thank you for all the times you reached out when you knew I was having hard times and telling me what I needed to hear. I will miss the random messages of you writing eureka or sssawwwttiii to me lol but I will always keep our memories  close to my heart!  That smile would light up the room and your laugh. Your amazing and always will be Love you buddy and until we meet again ! Love you always! ❤️

Oh how great times we had. I’ll cherish the memories of when you use to call me and be like “Diddy don’t make any plans tonight we going to a Spanish club” those memories will last forever. Endless memories in the operation and even coming back from out the country and going through immigration. Rest in paradise my brother until we meet again.  

Mi sentido pésame y más grandes condolencias los acompaño en su dolor Adela te acuerdas en los cumpleaños del hijito de Sergio Villota nuestros hijos jugaban y se divertían y nosotras felices de ver a nuestros hijos los dos de la misma edad bellos cómo pasaban tan lindo son los mas lindos recuerdos que nunca me imaginé q Tu hijito Brayan Saavedra se nos valla al cielo como esto q te recordé el a sido un hijo feliz ahora descansa y está con Dios descansando en Paz RIP🙏

Desde aquellos años en nuestro querido Brooklyn  hasta los últimos minutos tratando de figurar como pudiéramos ganar en juego de nuestro adorado JETS serán momentos para mi inolvidable. Descansa en paz mi querido Pita.

I appreciate very much what you did for me, you were an Angel at that time cousin. One of the many memories I have of you, is the smiles you took us out, your passion for football and among many more things. You always live in my memories.

David was a good friend, co-worker and just a positive person to be around, he is smart, ambitious, funny and most importantly he loves his country, family and friends. Me and David had a blast working together. Finding someone like David nowadays is pretty hard. He will be missed. Rest In Peace David. Your friend, William. 

David was my best friend and the best man at my wedding. He was my brother from another mother and our friendship meant the world to me. 

Although I moved away from Miami several years ago, our bond never broke and our friendship remained stronger than ever.  David  would make  it a point to call me everyday and see how I was doing. Unfortunately, for most people, frequently checking in on close friends does not happen often due to busy lifestyles, but no matter how busy David was, he made it a point to check on me. That is something that I always valued and cherished about him. David would also make it a point to be there for birthdays, family barbecues  and all special events. You would never hear an excuse come out of his mouth. 

David also had a gift of always making something positive out of any situation. His personality and sense of humor was contagious and he was simply an amazing  person. 

David, the memories we have made together over the years will never be forgotten. Thank you for blessing me with your friendship and always being there for me. I promise to always help watch over your beautiful family just like you are doing now from heaven. 

Rest in paradise!  I love you, brother!     

My Brotha from another mother! Mi amigoooo I love you man, thank you for all the amazing memories, the laughs the heart to heart conversations. You were the first person to ever make me a cassette and I will never EVER forget you. When people ask why do you like the Jets I’ll make sure to tell them because my Guardian Angel is a huge fan & it makes my heart happy to share that love & passion.  Thank you for always being you David, couldn’t have gone through life without you Brotha. Til we meet again mi parcero, SALUD pues. J.E.T.S 💚

It was always a pleasure working with you brotha. Waking up at 3am for that 4am shift wasn’t so bad. The jokes and the fun we all had was worth it. Plane Side X-Ray baby lol. 

You’ll will be extremely missed.
