Dear Rachel and Lisa,
We all met in the early 70’s and had so much fun. Your mom and dad through great parties, and your mom was always trying to fix me up with one of her girlfriends during that period. 
Your dad whom we both called ‘long in the tooth’, always bragged about the love affair they enjoyed. I was jealous.
Daria was a warrior and a rainbow of color.
My love to you both in these sad times.

I am at a loss for words. Daria was such a nice and empathetic person. It was always so pleasant and interesting to spend time talking with her. She was such a bird lover. She adored her birds and did so much to help the wild macaws of Miami. The macaws lost their strongest advocate and we lost such a wonderful human being. RIP dear dear Daria. It is so sad that you are no longer with us.

Daria was a friend and speaker on our cruises. We are saddened by her passing. The parrot community has lost a warrior, and the parrots have lost a friend.

I will always remember her with that sparkling smile and joie d’vivre that brightened the world around her. The kindest, nicest friend, her beauty radiated from the goodness within. And she baked the best pies and cakes! ❤️❤️❤️

This is a photo of Daria holding Pepper, my green-winged macaw at a Bird Lovers Club meeting. I am so sorry to hear about Daria's passing. She was such a kind woman who loved parrots, especially macaws and was so dedicated in her mission to protect the wild blue and gold macaws and parrots in South Florida. I met her at the Bird Lovers Club meetings and she was such a wonderful and generous person. She will be very missed. My condolences to her family. Pepper doesn't usually let people hold him. He sensed that Daria loved macaws and felt safe with her. R.I.P. Daria! 

Daria was a very SPECIAL PERSON. She so loved her birds and she showed it to all who cared. From the first time I met her I was in awe and never stopped being in awe. Now she flies free with her other flock (and husband). Love of her is shared by many. Condolences to her family. 

Say it isn’t so …. I’m So grateful I got to see you three times over last six months & to have known kindness. Your love for birds is a beautiful thing.
