I just got done watching a&e intervention on YouTube and I watched the season and episode where Courtney was on it and her story and her journey of path was very touching to me I wanted to know how she was doing as of now and her obituary popped up. I send my deepest condolences and send prayers for the family it is not easy loosing a loved one especially a loved one that was close to the heart ❤️ may she Rest In Paradise and finally be at Peace 🧡

She was such a beautiful child and I remember how fiercely you loved her!! Please know I am thinking of you and wishing you strength.

Courtney’s baby boy Teddy now 9 years old and she got him when he was 6 months old. She was so incredibly in love with her baby boy Teddy.

I'm so sorry for the family on the anniversary of Courtney's death. I still see her in episodes of "Intervention" and think of her often. I guess I feel a connection with her because I'm a recovering addict and alcoholic, now 13 years sober. I was one of the lucky ones. I'm sending the family hugs and lots of prayers on this day. RIP Courtney.

My best friend…a fellow RN died from a heroin OD. I was sooo angry at him. I miss him so much. 
It’s a disease analogous to diabetes…cancer.  It’s not chosen. 
I just watched the episode. She looks exactly like my ex-gf back in the college days. Such a beautiful girl. She seemed to radiate a kind and sweet presence.

I just finished watching Courtney’s episode and looked to see if there were any updates, which led me here. I am absolutely heartbroken for your family. I am so sorry. I feel such sadness that her sister lost her only sister and sibling, especially when they had such a strong bond. I think of you ever look back at the episode you will see you did everything humanly possible to show your love and concern for Courtney and to get her the help she so desperately needed. I am so sorry for your loss. I was rooting her and hope of for a much different outcome.

I watched Courtney’s episode back when I was in high school and still think of her. I just wanted to check to see if there was any updates im so saddened to hear of her loss. My condolences to you. RIP angel. 

I, too, watched Courtney's episode the other day, and wanted to say how sorry I was to hear of her passing.  I'm a recovering addict and alcoholic, now 11 years sober.  Watching Intervention episodes keeps me on the straight and narrow.  It gives me hope for so many.  Sadly, not for Courtney.  I'm so sorry.

I never met you Courtney but I have felt your pain. I hope the small peace of knowing that you are no longer in the torments of addiction can ease some of the pain your family has endured. You were a little girl stuck in the body of a young adult just seeking love and validation in all the wrong places. I am coming up on two years sober and each addict that I take through the AA Big Book I do it with the strength and passion I get from the memories of so many that have passed from this horrible disease.

Thank you for blessing me with your presence for the short time you were here. Your beauty and confidence lit the path you trailed and turned obscurity into revelation. You were a go getter with the drive and passion of a of a stallion. We had great times together and I thought I could bring you into my world and pull you out but my strength was not enough and I felt I had failed you. I now live a path of helping people, best to my ability. Hopefully the memories we shared brought solence when you were in despair. I had to move on with my life and im sorry I couldnt come back for you. If I knew- I wouldve kidnapped you and did everything I could to heal you. Ill always miss you. 

Ps. Tell god that im trying my best to live a righteous life and to forgive me for my sins as I know youre with him. Please look out for your family from heaven and those weak ones you met along the way, as your strength was surely enough to give courage to the weak. My sincerest condolences to the family.  I don't know any of you personally, but I wanted to express my sympathies.  I literally just watched your episode yesterday for the first time and something kept telling me to lookup an update all the rest of the day.  It was today I got a chance to look it up and  was saddened to know her fight was over to the day one year ago when I was watching it.  Her story has touched many people and continues to reach people.  Thank you so much for sharing your family with us!

I was in credit recovery with her in high school. I really liked her. Back then I didn't know about her addictions. I'm very sorry she passed- I tried to look her up and contact her. Rest in peace, Courtney.

I did not know her personally, only from her episode on tv. I am so sorry to hear she has passed away. She is a very beautiful girl and can only imagine how much more beautiful she is with those angel wings!! PRAYING FOR HER FAMILY AND LOVED ONES!

I remember when Susie, Brittany, and I would pick you up on Sunday mornings and take you to the beach with us. We had such a good time remembering old times, you sipping on your wine cooler, and me sneaking my Scotch and smoking my cigar. We enjoyed those moments tremendously and will cherish them forever. I know Susie loved you unconditionally and always held the most special place in her heart just for you. Your passing has left a big hole in everyone's life, and we sincerely hope that God will grant you the eternal rest and peace that you are so deserving of. My darling precious baby girl Courtney Renee was and still is the kindest most loving angel anyone has ever known or will ever know. She was special from the day she was conceived. Courtney was planned because her sissy Kimberly at the age of 8 begged me to have a sister for her. We bought all pink lace baby clothes the day we found out l was pregnant even though we had no idea for sure it was a girl but me and Kimberly just knew. Courtney was loved dearly by each and every person she ever met. She had the sweetest biggest smile I’ve ever seen. She loved her baby dog Teddy so much. She was a wonderful mother to him while she was able to but she realized she couldn’t take care of him and asked me 
to watch him. She gave me the greatest gift of my life because he is 
part of her and I have her with me through Teddy everyday. I love 
Courtney with all my heart and soul and my entire being forever 
and ever until we can meet again in gods paradise.
