Christian Williams known to all as Chris was a loving husband, father, relative, and friend. Born on February 28, 1977, in Fort Lauderdale, Fl. Christian loved people and loved God. His life was centered around Christ, family, and sharing love with those he came in contact with. Christian was a man of Purpose. His strength was found in his angelic voice in which he ministered to so many souls around the world. Christian was educated in the Broward County school system. He attended Bethune Cookman University where he sang in the Concert Chorale under the direction of Dr. Rebecca Steele. Christian finished his studies at Bethune University, earning a Bachelor degree in Special Education in grades K-12. Later, Christian decided to pursue and further his education and earned a Master’s degree in Leadership at Walden University. While teaching in both Florida and North Carolina public schools systems, Christian decided to leave the school system and venture out to work with the Federal Government as a Special Background Investigator. This was the perfect job for him because he loved people. He loved to minister the Word of God everywhere he went. Everyone that came in contact with him knew that he loved God, proclaimed the name of Jesus, and he could SING!
Christian loved his family…his wife and his girls were one of his life’s greatest accomplishments. Christian met his wife Azina and her daughter Ashley in 2003 The next year, they became one family, marrying on July 17th, 2004. Loving each other over 17 years, to this union brought three beautiful girls: Christina, Krislyn, and Destiny. Christian loved his children unconditionally and he was considered a girl-dad. His girls thought the world of him and in their eyes, he was and still is, their hero. Every function that the girls had, he never missed a beat of being there. Being able to talk with them and guide them in the right direction, he was the first to lead. Christian was a great model as a father and what a husband should be and more. Together, Christian and Azina shared a grandson, Lilfrank, known as his man-man. When Ashley had the baby, all Chris talked about was being a “granddaddy”. A grandfather indeed he was and he fulfilled it until the end.
Chris was reared by Clara and Solomon (aka Bobby) Williams. This blessed talented boy came from a family that loved Christ. As they taught Chris that way of the Lord, he followed those commandments and attempted to master them daily in his own life. Both Bobby and Clara loved Chris and spoiled him until the day they departed this earth. Chris’ beloved mother Clara Williams and father Solomon “Bobby” Williams proceeded him in death. Christian leaves behind his beautiful wife of 17 years, Azina Williams; four daughters: Ashley, Christina, Krislyn, and Destiny; one grandson, Lilfrank Alexander; and one brother, Michael Williams. Mother-in-law whom he affectionately called “momma” Carolyn Driver; Father-in-law Ronald Driver (Mary); A host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, godchildren, and friends. Indeed our singing Angel will be missed.
