Her 5 grandchildren adore her; Ryan Kromsky (28), Justin Stasio (27), Jaryd Kromsky (Rachel) (27, 26) , Melynda Kromsky (24) and Aaron Stasio (21). They were her pride and joy. She went back to school and received her masters degree in education to focus on Special Ed. She retired from teaching at Highland Oaks Middle School.
She kept in touch with many of her former students, and all will miss her unconditional support. Her colleagues and community knew her as a powerful champion for children with learning disabilities as well as kids grappling with challenging circumstances at home. She was always available to her students for guidance, an encouraging word or a hug to cheer them up.
Carole was an active member of Temple Sinai of North Dade on 22nd Ave in NMB, FL. She loved playing tennis and mahjong, attending book club & stock club meetings and traveling around the world. She spent vacations in their home in the Laurentian mountains snow shoeing and hiking, picking berries and pedal boating with her grandchildren, family and friends. Her energy and zest for life will be missed but never forgotten.
