Carlos Maximo Siblesz, 82, of Miami, Florida passed away peacefully August 27th, 2022, surrounded by his family. He was the oldest son born to Hilda and Carlos Siblesz on October 3rd, 1939 in Cienfuegos, Las Villas, Cuba.
Carlos wed Magali Teresa Aguilar in 1960. They were blessed with two children, their daughter Ana Maria and their son George Louis.
Carlos worked in several businesses throughout is life, including Air Conditioning and Real Estate, among others. On January 20th, 1977, he incorporated Medipharma, Inc., a Pharmaceutical Exporter focused on Institutional Sales in Central America. In 1990, Carlos and Magali purchased a property and building in Cartago, Costa Rica, that was transformed into a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. Today, the facility produces ethical drugs that are marketed to Institutions and Private Markets. The business provided Carlos and Magali many opportunities. One that they cherished was travelling the world and meeting individuals that became not only business partners but also lifelong friends.
Carlos and Magali adopted Costa Rica as their home for over thirty years. There is no doubt they enjoyed entertaining family and friends. Carlos and Magali were very involved in the Rotary Club, together with fellow Rotarians, they worked arduously in many projects that served those in need.
Above everything else, Carlos was devoted to his wife, children, and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandson Anthony Westphal. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Magali, his brother Jorge, his daughter Ana and her spouse Anthony, his son George and his wife Marilyn, his grandchildren George Gabriel, Alessandra Maria, Austin, Veronica Maria, Alia, and niece Alina.

The Memorial Mass will be held at St. Augustine Catholic Church, On Friday the 2nd of September at 9:30am
