Carlos Mateo, 64, Attending Anesthesiologist & Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology at UM passed away at his residence on August 26, 2017. He is survived by his wife, Dr. Nora Daniel; his daughter, Isabel Mijares; his two sons, Daniel and Carlos Jr. Mijares. He will be truly missed by all who knew him and will forever remain a legend.
