I met Anna right at the beginning of my legal career, and we became quick friends. She was always so willing to help attorneys and clients alike. She made things happen in a way no one else could. I'm going to miss you, Anna. The Citizens of Miami-Dade lost an angel. I pray for comfort to your family and especially your children who you were so proud of! Your memory will live on forever.  

As the days pass, I think more about our time together and the last time we spoke. For sometime I shared a  small office space with you and others who became friends. I remember your open door policy, sharing because it helps. One of the many things I cherish that you taught me. Your beautiful laugh and smile is forever etched into my memory. I’m thankful to have witnessed your love and light, your sparkle and shine. Anna I will truly miss you, being able to randomly call after months of not speaking and pick up where we last left off. Your an inspiration to all parents. Every time you mentioned your children the room lit up as did you with pride, they are truly wonderful! I know that I will continue to note your presence at random, you’ll always be with us. Every person you’ve ever touched, your love remains with them always. 

Ana was a gift to all who ever worked the halls of the the Criminal Courthouse.  She was tireless in helping everyone she ever came into contact. I only knew her professionally and have not worked at the MJB in more than 7 years but I will never forget her, her intelligence, her kindness and her absolute ability to make everything easier.  My deepest condolences to you all.  I know an entire community mourns with you.

For years, Anna was a friendly face, a helpful friend, and a knowing guide to all of the new Assistant State Attorneys coming to her for questions and help as they began their careers as attorneys. You were always patient, kind, and able to resolve any problem we brought to you. How wonderful for all of us who had the pleasure of working with you. You will be dearly missed and remembered.  Our love goes out to all of your family, friends, and colleagues.  

I am a co worker. We didn’t work directly-separate departments but the same leadership team. All my encounters with Anna are HIGE SMILES, an infectious cheerful spirit, devotion and love of life , work, moreover FAMILY!

To know Anna was to love her.    Anna's passing is a huge blow to all of humanity.  Her life had meaning and she made sure to live it daily.  God speed Anna.  This is not a good bye but a see you later.  Love and light to Edwin, Kayla, Nathan, and Mia.  

We would like to extend our deepest condolences to Anna’s family, particularly her husband and children as well as her friends and colleagues affected by her passing.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time and may the beautiful memories you have of her be a balm to your hearts. 

We worked with Anna for almost 15 years. She was a very caring and compassionate person, committed to her work and to serving our community and her clients.  She will be greatly missed.
 


What can I say after so many years working together?   We shared opinions and thoughts of work, family and life.  The decades we went to court together I will never forget.  I pray for your family and know you will be watching over them.   May God hold you in the palms of his hands.

I will never forget your welcoming smile, inspiring tenacity and warm friendship. 
Your electrifying  morning energy that would  demand me awake with phrases like "get to work" and your openness to connect authentically despite the absurdity of what I was telling you, which you'd often respond to by saying "stop it".
I will always cherish the memories we created together. Our countless lunches, walks, picnics and  our epic kayak adventure! Your door was always open to listen to me vent, cry or to share laughs while we sipped coffee.  Your dedication to your family was moving to say the least, you were a Super Mom, whose efforts shined through  in your beautiful children.
 I will eternally admire Your fight, your courage and your desire to be better each day. 
It's a heavy heart but a mind full of smile provoking memories that writes this. You will live on in all the memories of everyone who your light touched and you will never be forgotten.

I would like to begin by extending my deepest condolences to Anna's family, friends,  and colleagues.   I met Anna when I worked at The Advocate Program.   I always looked up to Anna and admired how she seemed to balance motherhood and her career so flawlessly.  I considered Anna a mentor and a friend. Not only was she a natural born leader, but she was hardworking,  smart, kind, helpful, funny, and FUN!  We were court buddies and always met for lunch afterwards.   I was newly married and was moving out of Miami.  I expressed my fears about change to her and Anna responded by saying,  "sometimes you just have to put yourself out there. "  I always remembered those words and she never knew that they helped me get through.  Lastly, Anna's love for her husband and children was clearly special if you spent any time with her.  I am devastated over her passing.  Thank you Anna for the wonderful times we shared and the joy you brought me.  I will never forget you. ♡

I had the pleasure of cutting Anna’s beautiful hair. She was a super cool and fun mom that allowed her kids to have super cool hairstyles. 
I was blessed to have known her.

I knew Ana from Advocate Program. Even though we did not share a lot of time together, Ana always impressed me as a committed, sincere, hard working woman. I am so so sorry for her loss. My deepest sympathy to her family.

Anna was a wonderful person who dedicated countless hours helping people and improving our community.  She will be missed.  Her memory is a blessing to everyone who knew her; her compassion and service is a blessing to us all.  May she rest in peace.

I feel very blessed to have shared great moments with such an amazing person.  In this picture we were at FIU North in a leadership retreat.  As you can see we had a blast!!!   Both my daughters interned under her (Czarina & Atheina) being that we are Nica!! they had a special bond, talking about Nicaragua and going out to la fritanga!  Anna you will always be remembered. Edwin, Kayla, Nathan and Mia your Advocate Family is always here for you all !!

I have so many fun memories of working with Anna almost 30 years ago at Publix.  One of your pictures said she was always smiling.  That is one of my favorite memories of Anna.  She was fun and full of life and so very beautiful.  I remember a customer accusing her of intentionally not speaking Spanish to her.  The customer could not believe a person with the first name spelled           A •N•N•A did not speak Spanish.  The customer had some choice words for Anna in Spanish.  We waited until the customer left to tell Anna what was said and she bolted out the door to say something.  First and only time I ever saw her angry but when she came in we just laughed together. 
She was a part of the best years of my life and I l adored her.  My thoughts are with Edwin and the apples of Anna’s eyes.  

We are so sorry to hear of Anna's passing.

This is one of the photos I took when we traveled to Tennessee and stayed in a cabin and hiked several waterfalls. It was definitely a fun trip with you guys. Thank you for all the fun times we shared. My deepest condolences to your family. Anna was a gem of a person. She loved her life with her family and they were such a close unit. Rest In Peace Anna.
