Anna was born on November 4th, 1958, in Holguin, Cuba. When she was 8, she immigrated to Brooklyn, New York and later to Miami. Anna worked for many years at Southeast Bank as well as H&R Block. Everyone could also rely on her to be the life of the party and to raise anyone’s spirits. Above all though, Anna was a mother to her children, and all their friends. She was a spiritual, nurturing, loving soul who believed in helping anyone who needed it. Whether it was serving you a giant plate of food, taking elderly neighbors to run their errands, or giving you her last dollar, she was always willing to lend a hand to anyone that needed her.
She has survived by her children, Brandy, Dennis, Nicky, David, as well as her grandchildren, Madison, Santi, DJ, her husband Joe, and her two sisters, Candy and Maria. A memorial gathering and celebration of life is planned for Sunday, March 6th, from 6 to Midnight at the Caballero Rivero Westchester, 8200 Bird Road, Miami, Florida, 33155. In lieu of flowers, please send plants.
