Beloved husband by first marriage of the late Sophie Tomasson Ziegler and second marriage the late Rosemary Caparo Ziegler. Father of Susan Z. Fowler, William J. Ziegler, Jr. and the late Cynthia Z. Moriarty. Brother of the late Louis, Carl, Rudolph, Sterling, Albert and Edward Ziegler, Lena Baumgartner, Helen Zeller and Eva Mitchell. Grandfather of Timothy Moriarty III, Brett Moriarty, James Fowler, Kimberly Ziegler and Rachel Ziegler. Great Grandfather of Timothy Moriarty V, Jacob Lawe Moriarty, William Wesley Fowler, Nathan James Fowler, Zachary Goss and Diamond Goss.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Tharp-Sontheimer-Tharp, 1600 N. Causeway Blvd. on Monday, March 1, 2010 at 1:00 pm with visitation beginning at 11:00 am. Interment in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
