Wayne Douglas Collier, age 88, went to be with his loved ones that preceded him in death on Saturday, July 19, 2014. Mr. Collier was a native of El Paso, TX and was a resident of Metairie, LA for the past 53 years. Beloved husband of the late Amy T. Bourgeois Collier. Beloved father of Constance Dye and Cynthia Collier. Father-in-law of David Kelly. Grandfather of Angelica Dye, Amanda Dye, Colleen Dye, Sara Kelly, Emily Kelly and the late Beth Dye. Son of the late Byron Collier and Ellen Estelle Hughes Collier. Mr. Collier was a retired supervisor for AT&T. He was a WWII Navy veteran and was a volunteer at Covenant House and Lafreniere Park.
