Wayne Joseph Borne

Wayne J. Borne, age 71, passed away on Monday, September 23, 2013 at his residence. Wayne was a lifelong resident of New Orleans, La. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Gail Elizabeth Staiger Borne, his daughters and sons-in-law, Rebecca and Alan Herbert , Karen and Jeff Powell , and Jenny and J. Babineaux , his grandchildren, Sadie and Sophie Herbert, Trent Powell, Hunter and Lauren Babineaux, his brother, Dale A. Borne (Sheila), and his sister, Marlene Ann Borne.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold J. and Julia H. Borne.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Memorial Mass on Friday, September 27, 2013 at St. Matthew the Apostle Catholic Church, 10021 Jefferson Highway, River Ridge, La. 70123 at 1:00 PM .The visitation will begin at 11:30 am until 1:00 PM.
