Tammy Lynn Davis

Tammy L. Davis, 53, of Kenner, LA and formerly of Kittanning, PA, died suddenly on December 16th at home. She was born on October 29, 1964 in Kittanning, PA to Delores Davis and the late James Davis. She worked for Orleans and Jefferson Parish Public Schools and was a beloved teacher for 31 years. She also was the Nursery Director and attended Munholland United Methodist Church in Metairie for many years. Tam was a world traveler and enjoyed visiting new places. She loved her students and shaped many young lives. She leaves behind her beloved mother Delores, her brother Matt and his wife Missy, her nephew Josh and his fiance Krista, all of Kittanning PA. The service will be held at Munholland United Methodist Church, 1201 Metairie Road, Metairie, on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at 5:00 in the evening. Visitation will begin in church at 4:00. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Munholland United Methodist Church and designated for the Tammy Davis fund. The funds will be used for children’s ministries.
