Steven Anthony Walsh

Steven Anthony Walsh, age 77, passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2024. He was born to the late Neil and Jeanette Passassaniti Walsh on August 2, 1946, in St. Louis, Missouri. He was a dedicated husband for 58 years to Hallie Walsh and the loving father of two stepdaughters. He is also survived by three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren whom he shared many happy times with.

He lived most of his life in the New Orleans area and was extremely proud to serve his country in Vietnam. He was a humble man who loved his family, friends and co-workers from the Carpenter's Union and Two Tony's. He enjoyed sharing fond memories of his time growing up in Missouri and kept in touch with his Missouri family. He will be sorely missed.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd. in Metairie from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm followed by a prayer service and military honors. Per his request, he will be laid to rest in the Southeast LA Veterans Cemetery, 34888 Grantham College Dr. in Slidell, LA on Friday, July 19, 2024, at 11:00 am.
