Steven G. Pinell

Steven G. Pinell, age 64, entered Heaven on Thursday, March 16, 2023. Beloved son of George J. Pinell and the late Marilyn D. Pinell. Steven is also survived by his uncle Albert Drouet and aunt Patricia Gabb and many cousins. Steven was a graduate and parishioner of St. Philip Neri. Steven was a graduate of De La Salle High School and attended LSU and UNO. Steven was a long time LSU and Saints fan. Steven had resided in the French Quarter for 12 years and was a lifelong resident of the New Orleans area. The family would like to extend a thank you to the staff of Forest Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Jonesboro, La. where Steven resided for the past 20 months. Their care, compassion and love shown to him will never be forgotten. A deep special thank you is given to Shona Caskey his (adopted ) mother and Ashley Hickman of Forest Haven for their sincere Love, friendship, caring and support exhibited to Steven. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., near Clearview Pkwy., in Metairie La. on Tuesday morning, March 28, 2023 beginning at 9:00 AM with a Funeral Mass to follow at 11:00 AM in Leitz Eagan Funeral Home's chapel.
