Steven Bertucci Sr. went home to be with his Lord Jesus Christ on Wednesday November 20, 2013 at University Hospital. Resident of Chalmette and native of New Orleans. He is survived by his wife Laureen Bertucci and children David Bertucci and Steven A. Bertucci Jr (Tony), Preceded in death by his parents Peter G. Bertucci and Betty Sass Bertucci. He is survived by his brothers Peter G. Bertucci Jr (Frances) and Paul M. Bertucci, his grandson Little Tony Bertucci, and numerous nieces and nephews. Steven drove taxis for United Cab and Service Cab Company for many years. He will be sadly missed by his family and many friends. The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of University Hospital for their care and kindness. Services will be held Tuesday November 26, 2013 at Leitz Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans in Metairie. Visitation will begin at 10am with a chapel service at 1pm.
