Shirley Anne Parent Lee

God has another angel to watch over us! Shirley Anne (Parent) Lee has passed on December 11, 2013. She leaves behind her loving husband for 56 years Gerald Lawrence Lee, her only child Debra Sandra Lee and her companion Brain David Whitlock, four grandchildren Steven L. Elie, Jr., Jason A. Elie, Brianna Eve Whitlock, Jacob D. Whitlock, two Great grandchildren Mia D. Elie and Dominick L. Elie. She also leaves behind her siblings and spouses Leon Parent, (deceased) Catherine Parent, Marie Parent Roussel, Norman & Wendy Parent, (deceased) Albert Parent & Linda Parent, Joseph (Joe) Parent & Carol Parent and Luella Parent Pipitone and several nieces, nephews, family and friends. Shirley Anne Lee was a native of New Orleans and worked for Maison Blache for 25 years until she retired and became a housewife/homemaker. She moved to Metairie with her family in 1977. She always loved taking care of other and ALWAYS had a big smile with her big blue eyes; she loved her family unconditionally and enjoyed her simple life. She will be missed dearly with great memories. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd. Metairie on Tuesday December 17, 2013 at 7:00pm.
