Shirley Mae Barcenas

Shirley Mae Barcenas of New Orleans, La passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2023, at home surrounded by her family at the age of 100. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joaquin Peter Barcenas and her son, Glenn Philip Barcenas. She is survived by her other 4 children: Ronald J. Barcenas (Carol), Laura Barcenas Epstein (Gary), Susan Barcenas Marino (Terry), David John Barcenas (Denise). She also had 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Services will be held Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home at 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd, Metairie, LA 70006 on July 13, 2023. Viewing will be from 9:30 am - 11:30 am followed by a Catholic Mass. Burial will be in Hope Mausoleum at 4848 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA.
