Ruby Lee Marie Mathis

She was the wife of the late Glenn J Mathis. She was the mother of two daughters, Glennette M. Adams (Henry) and Rosalie M. Gassen (Louis).

She was the grandmother of seven grandchildren, Will Dufrene Jr., Monique Burris, Randy Dufrene, Raquel Drolla, Ferris Tastet Jr, Damien LoCoco, and Jessica L. Broom. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Armand Chauvin and Rena Roussel Chauvin, and her siblings, Herman Chauvin, Douglas Chauvin, Delta C. Falgout, Willard Chauvin, Jeanette Chauvin, Peggy C Duplantis, and Curtis Chauvin.

Ruby Lee was born in Raceland, was a long-time resident of Luling and Boutte, and was a resident of Franklinton for the past 13 years.

Friends and family are invited to attend a funeral service on Friday, October 16, 2020 at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 234 Angus Dr. Luling, LA. Visitation will be held from 9AM-11AM with a Funeral Mass to begin at 11AM. Interment will follow at St. Charles Cemetery in Luling.
