She was the loving Aunt of Linda E. Prats (Ray), Sheila E. Englert (Craig), and Karen H. Breath (Ronnie). She also was survived by her Great Nephews, Trey (Lacey), Christian (Lauren), and Stu, along with her Great Niece Erin, and Great Great Nephews Oliver, Sam, Eli and Dylan. She was preceded in death by her husband Willie G. Mc Neil, her parents Christian F. Ehren, Jr. and Irma Parsons Ehren, and her brother Christian F. Ehren, III.
To all that knew Aunt Monie, she was loving, kind, generous and had quite a unique sense of humor. She will be sadly missed by all who had the privilege of being in her company. She worked for South Central Bell before retiring and worked many tireless volunteer hours as a member of the Crescent City Pioneers Club and the Lake Pontchartrain Basin Foundation.
The family would like to recognize the staff at Canon Hospice for their loving care as well as their comfort and support for Aunt Monie in her last days.
Immediate family members and close friends will honor Aunt Monie at a private celebration of her life. There will be a cremation and a private family interment at Lake Lawn Mausoleum.
