Mrs. Rosemary Bradley was a long-time resident of Kenner, Louisiana she passed away on June 10, 2022 at home surround by loved ones after a battle with cancer. She was born August 11, 1930 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Emma and Matthew Taplet. and departed this life June 10, 2022 at the age of 91. Rosemary grew up in New Orleans, where she attended Orleans Parish schools. After high school she worked at Haspel's Clothing Factory for many years. She was married to Nathaniel Bradley and from that union were born three sons. Ms. Rosie (affectionately known) then went on to work at Schwegmann’s Supermarket until she retired.
She enjoyed cooking, sewing, reading her bible, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. In the early evening of June 10, 2022 by provincial hand of God, an Angel descended to the bedside of Rosemary Bradley saying the time of your departure has come. “ For I am now ready to be offered and the time of my departure is at hand, I have fought the good fight; you I have finished my course, I have kept the faith; Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day, and not to me only. But unto all of them also that love His appearing. 2 Timothy 4:7)”. She is preceded in death by her son, Larry Bradley, her parents Matthew and Emma Taplet, and her siblings, Melvin Taplet,Elnora Allen, and Alfred Taplet.
Rosemary leaves to cherish her memories, two sons, Eric Bradley of Hattiesburg Mississippi and Allan Bradley, Sr. of Kenner, Louisiana. She also leaves to cherish her memories six grandchildren Stacey Bradley of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Allen Bradley Jr, of Kenner, LA. Tanya Doubarere (Nelson) of Houston Texas, Keith Bradley of Houston, Texas, Monica Bradley of Dallas, Texas, and Demetrius Bradley of New Orleans, LA. and her great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. Rosemary also leaves memories with her five siblings 2 sisters, Ruth Regis of Plato Texas, and Geraldine Talpet of Chicago Illinois, 3 brothers Percy Taplet of New Orleans, LA. Leroy Taplet of Plato Texas, and Alvin Taplet. Of Houston, Texas.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the memorial gathering at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., near Clearview Pkwy., in Metairie, LA on Saturday morning, June 18, 2022 beginning at 9:00 AM with a memorial service to follow at 10:00 AM in Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home's chapel.
