Ron Warner was a dear friend and the best Legal Mind anybody could ever experience!
I loved Ron like a brother and I know that he is in peace and love, having been there myself once upon a time!

Nehama,
I was shocked and deeply saddened to learn of Ron's passing. We had been close friends through our years in Linden, and sat side-by-side playing trumpet in the high school band. Ron was my "Little Brother" in AZA. In a phone conversation a few years back, while still in California, Ron confided that it was my mother who had urged him to attend Tulane, for which he was still grateful. I wish that, with the move to New Orleans, we had been able to again share our families.

I am devastated by the loss of my great friend.  Ron was a unique individual who I truly loved and admired - a true "Renaissance Man" in every sense.  Ron's main strength, among many, was his sincere and unconditional love for the people in his life.  I know I felt that love at every meeting and in every conversation for 45 years.  We attended NYU Law School together but we didn't really get to know each other until we were associates at the NY law firm of Debevoise and Plimpton in the early 70's.  We worked together on the American Airlines team and became very close colleagues and friends.  Our two other Debevoise buddies, Irwin and Isaac, are both deeply saddened as well by our loss.  Nehama, Ron was so grateful to have you as his wife and partner.  He told me many times that you were his "Rock", especially during the very difficult times that he went through.  Life is so fragile.  Ron realized his dream of living with Nehama in New Orleans, albeit for such a short time.  Every day we have must be cherished.  My deepest condolences to Nehama and to Steve and Ali and Helena and Ben.  Your husband/father/ grandfather was an amazing and wonderful man.  I shall miss my awesome friend Ron every day.  We have all lost a piece of ourselves.

Nehama, family and friends of Ron, I learned this sad news just today. I considered Ron a trusted friend, and it was that way from the day we met.  Ron was a uniquely kind, quality guy, no doubt to be missed by many, including me. I never caught up with him and Ali in Wellesley in the recent years, which is my loss to be sure.

Ron and I shared some common background and it was easy to talk with him about that and most anything else. We had our careers and interest in sports in common and he and I spent some good times at different athletic events-sharing our enjoyment of the event, but also solving the world's problems, as they say. I think the best and most fulfilling time I have spent at a football game (with anyone other than my daughter) was Ron's only Big Ten game when we met in Indy and went to a  game a few years ago. We had a great time, some thoughtful conversation and Ron was tickled to be there--and I was thrilled he experienced that and shared it with me. I will never forget that he was on that Atkins diet, so we ate at the best steakhouse in Indy where he downed a huge rib eye with nothing else…and left me wondering if that diet would actually work.

Among many impressions of Ron's greatness as a human being, was the incredibly gracious way he handled his son's tragedy. One could only imagine the pain of it. Yet, when passing along my condolences, Ron in the most dignified and thoughtful manner possible relieved the grief and the concern of those around him in the most remarkable way: he told me in clear earnest that he was simply grateful for the time he had with Brad, that whatever days there were, they were all good ones and if that is what he had, he was thankful to have had them. I hope you can find some solace in Ron's own gracious words and find comfort in the memories of Ron and all his good and the many people who loved and cared for him. I am going to do that, and I genuinely value and will remember the time spent with Ron.

We were partners in the corporate section for many years at Arter & Hadden, and Ron was always an excellent lawyer, great partner and a prince of a human being.  He will be greatly missed. My heart sank at the news. Ron was one of the most generous and thoughtful men I have known.  I had hoped, expected to have many more conversations. Ron was one of the most important men in my life for the last 25 years he has been my mentor and friend. Always available when I needed his help or just to catch up. He will be missed dearly. My thoughts and prayers go to the family, Nehama, Alixandra, Steve, Binney and his grandchildren Helena and Ben.  I loved Ron and will miss him. God bless this man.

My deepest condolences to the family of Mr. Ron. I enjoyed working for this wonderful man! He is very outgoing & enjoyed his sports, every time we spoke we chatted about football or baseball. To Mrs. Nehama & children, I am truelly sorry for your lost! He is looking down on all of you with joy...He will continue to be in your hearts, I am truelly blessed to have met him while working as your electrician, which turned into a friendship...you all need anything please call me! I was so sorry and shocked to learn this.  I got to know Ron well through his service to Tulane and always valued his advice that was often given with a sense of humor.  I will miss him greatly.  He took great interest in my family and with 3 daughters as swimmers he never failed to ask how they were doing.  I want to offer my profound condolences to Ron's family.
