Devoted wife of Edward Mc Phate, Sr. of 63 years. Loving mother of Edward Mc Phate, Jr., Brenda M. Davis (Bobby), Linda Mc Phate (Keith) Debra M. Lane (Chuck), William Mc Phate (fiancé, Tiffany) and the late daughter-in-law Talatha, wife of Edward, Jr.

Proud grandmother of 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Daughter of the late Florence Piggott Dobyns and Thomas Archie Dobyns. Sister of Thomas L. Dobyns and Billie Ann Alford.

Age 82, a native of Mobile, Alabama and resided in Harahan. Roberta worked as a Director Secretary at Ochsner Foundation for 16 years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at 1:00 pm at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie. Visitation from 11:00 am until funeral time. Interment in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
