Robert is survived by his loving wife, Erin (Waguespack) Corona; his children, Taylor, Stephen, Brandon (Kimberly), Amanda (Joey) and Brayden and his grandchildren Reese, Mason, Madden, Veda, Grayson, Kendall, Madison and Parker. He is also survived by his siblings Dawn Corona (Mike), Catherine Chatelain (Ray), Anthony Corona (Evelyn), and Michael Corona (Michelle), as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents Jerome and Patricia Corona.
Robert graduated from East Jefferson High School. He enjoyed his career with Jefferson Parish Recreation Department, and was a fixture at Delta Playground for many years. Robert ultimately lived his life for his children and grandchildren; he would always attend their sporting events, and was always their biggest cheerleader.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Metairie, LA 70006 on Friday, October 21, 2022 at 11:00 AM with visitation beginning at 9:00 AM. Robert’s family would like everyone in attendance to dress casually for services to honor his memory.
