Rebecca Reeves Beatty

Rebecca Reeves Beatty passed away peacefully on August 30, 2022 at the age of 80. She was born in New Orleans, LA on October 2, 1941 and was a resident of Kenner, LA for the past 51 years. She retired from Ochsner Medical Clinic and was a dedicated and active parishioner of Divine Mercy Parish. Becky was a very loving and kind person who prayed daily for her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 51 years, Thomas Beatty Sr. and her son, Randal Turner Sr.

She is survived by her sons, Michael Beatty (Kathryn) and Thomas Beatty Jr. (Holly), daughter, Vickie Beatty (Steven), daughter-in-law, Melinda Turner, sisters, Patricia Bryars and Sheryl Galtier (Rodley), 10 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 4337 Sal Lentini Pkwy. Kenner, LA. Visitation will be held from 9AM – 11AM with a funeral Mass to begin at 11AM. Interment will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens in St. Rose, LA.
