Penny Lou Everett passed away on December 11, 2014. She was born on January 8, 1954 and was the daughter of Mary Polk and Louis Polk and grew up in Madisonville, LA. Penny graduated from Nicholls State University with an Associate Degree in Nursing. She pursued a career in the medical field as an RN. Early in her career she worked in the NICU and newborn nursery. For the past 11 years she worked for Peoples Health as a chronic care coordinator. Penny was a loving mother and wife and she is survived by her husband Richard Everett, son Jacob Tabor, stepdaughter Brianna Everett, her sister Joni Polk Sealer and brother in law Charles Sealer. As a RN Penny dedicated her whole life to helping others and never asked for anything in return. She had a kind and giving spirit and will be greatly missed.
We will be celebrating Penny’s life with a Memorial Service at 10:00 am on Tuesday December 16, 2014 at Victory Fellowship Church located at 5708 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA.
