Pedro "Peppy" Pablo Ruiz III

Pedro Pablo Ruiz III, “Peppy”, went to meet God in heaven on Monday, November 5th, 2018. He was born on November 27th, 1961 in Atlanta, Georgia to his parents, Pedro Pablo Ruiz Jr. and Donna Cecile Murphy. He is also survived by his step-mother, Yolanda C. Ruiz; his children, Wolfgang Ruiz and Gunner Ruiz; his granddaughters, Alexis Ruiz and Elise Ruiz; his brothers, Ricky Ruiz, Bobby Ruiz and his sister, Donna Maria Ruiz. His step-brothers, Orlando Alcazar (Kara), John-Paul Ruiz, Jeffrey Ruiz and Christian Ruiz. Peppy was a carpenter by trade, but his true passion was his music. Peppy was a brilliant song writer and musician. He performed in the New Orleans area with his band, “The Rebels”, eventually leading him to Los Angeles California where he played for 3 years. His brilliant mind and talent will be forever missed, but, never silenced. Services will be held at St. Clement of Rome, 3990 West Esplanade Avenue in Metairie, Louisiana. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Tuesday, November 13th, followed by a Funeral Mass beginning at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Pedro Peppy Ruiz Memorial Fund at any Hancock Whitney Bank location. Interment will be private.
