Norma Bristol

Norma Ruth Bristol, 74, of Kenner, Louisiana died peacefully Thursday, May 31, 2012. Born in Birmingham, Alabama on July 9, 1937, Norma was the oldest daughter of Susan Viola and Joseph Murray Bristol. Norma received a Nursing degree from the University of Alabama and retired after 50 years of practice as a Registered Nurse. She was a devout Catholic and was active in her church when she was able. Norma is survived by her sister, Carolyn Stone; nephew David Stone and wife Catherine; nephew Michael Stone and wife Andrea; niece Kristen Klein and husband Jason; four grand-nieces and three grand-nephews. Norma's Family would like to extend a special Thank You to Canon Hospice and members of First Christian Church for their wonderful care, support, and prayers. Graveside Services will be held in Birmingham, Alabama at a later date.
