Nancy Lee Digangi

Nancy Lee Digangi, a native of New Orleans and longtime resident of Chalmette, La. went home to be with the Lord and Savior on Thursday, March 6, 2014 in Kenner, La. She was a supervisor at Whitney Bank, and a member of Grace Baptist Church in New Orleans. Nancy was preceded in death by her mother, Ruby Lee Lamb Scharfenstein. She is survived by her husband, Pete Digangi, her loving daughter, Emily Lauren Digangi, her father, David James Scharfenstein, Sr., her brother, David James Scharfenstein, Jr.(Ana Elizabeth), her sisters, Judy Hudson (Jack) and Peggy Scharfenstein. Also survived by 2 nieces, 3 nephews, 4 great nieces, and many friends and family.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Monday, March 10, 2014 at 1:30 pm from the Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, La., where friends may call after 11:00 am. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery.
