Randy was born on July 14th, 1944 in Louisville, Kentucky, to Milan Steve Dianis and Rose Edmonds. After graduating from Simsbury (CT) High School, he served with distinction in the United States Marine Corps before embarking on a long career in the food service industry in a variety of managerial and leadership roles which brought him to New Orleans. He found his passion RVing and work-camping for over 25 years around the USA and Mexico with his love, Bobbie.
Randy loved all outdoor activities including softball with the guys, fishing, hiking and white water rafting from coast to coast.
He took pride in driving the tour bus for Bryce Canyon and loved sharing the marvels of the area.
Randy is survived by his wife of 35 years, Bobbie Pollock Cantrelle, his daughter Stephanie Dianis Campos (Michael), and many wonderful stepchildren, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A visitation and remembrance will be held Saturday, April 12, 2025, 2pm-4pm at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Metairie, LA.
