Michael V. Pizzolato Jr. passed away Friday March 29th 2013. Beloved husband to Flora Pizzolato for 63 Years. Son of the late Michael V. Pizzolato Sr. and Nancy Rando Pizzolato. Preceded in death by Mae-Mae P. Muller, Charlie A. Pizzolato, Rita P. Horton, Lucy P. Schiro, Noni Pizzolato and Miriam P. Oubre. Survived by Rose P. Guarisco. Loving father of Michael V. Pizzolato III (Julie A. Toups), Barry A. Pizzolato (Sheila H. Pizzolato), Connie P. Geisinger (Charlie J. Geisinger), and Robert C. Pizzolato Sr. (Diane S. Pizzolato). Grandfather to Michael V. Pizzolato IV, Robbie F. Pizzolato (Angel B. Pizzolato), Joseph E. Pizzolato, Jessica P. Pineda (Oscar J. Pineda Sr.), Jaime P. Caillouet, Robert C. Pizzolato Jr., Rachel M. Pizzolato, John Toups, Melissa Toups. Great grandchildren include Michael V. Pizzolato V, Ava Joy Caillouet, Oscar J. Pineda Jr. Survived by a host of loving and caring nieces, nephews, family and friends. Mr. Pizzolato was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was a member of V.F.W. and American Legion Post #137. He had 33 years of service with South Central Bell and was a Lifetime member of Telephone Pioneers. There was nothing that our father could not build or fix- always finding ways to help. Multi-talented with God given ability. He touched everyone he ever met. Truly, he will be missed. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd., near Clearview Pkwy., in Metairie, LA on Sunday evening, April 7, 2013 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Monday morning, April 8, 2013 beginning at 8:30 AM. We will leave Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home at 11:45 AM Monday morning and go to St. Ann Church, corner of Transcontintental Dr. and Loveland St. in Metairie where a Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 noon.
