Michael D. Emerson

Michael D. Emerson, age 51, was born on September, 2, 1960 and departed this life on March 6th, 2012. Michael was a native of New Orleans, Louisiana. He is the son of the late Ralph Emerson and a loving son of Mary Fatheree, and the late stepfather Steve Burregi . Michael was a loving brother to Mark Emerson (Dana), Deborah Emerson, Ann Schmidt (John), Veronica Albanese (Louis), Fran Matise (Anthony) and the late Steve Joe Burregi. Also survived by eight nieces and nephews, 6 great nieces and nephews. Michael was a proud honor student at Southern University at New Orleans where he participated in the STESA club. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd., Metairie on Saturday March 10, 2012 at 11:00am. Visitation from 9:00am until time of service.

Interment in Cypress Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Michael Emerson Memorial Fund at Capital One bank.
