Maxine Marie Hebert Wilcox

Loving Wife and Mother, Maxine Marie Hebert Wilcox, joined her heavenly father on Monday, September 2, 2013. She was born on June 23, 1951, in Houma, LA and was a resident of Metairie for the past 24 years.

She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Abraham “Junior” H. Wilcox, Jr.; her daughters, Stefani Nau (Erick), Carmen Rojas (Carlos), Tina Kovacs (Mark), Theresa Bourgeois (Scott) and her son John E. Wilcox. A proud grandmother of seven grandchildren, Danielle, Alexandra, Mark, Jr., Carlie, Olivia, Tyler and Benjamin .

Daughter of the late Elie “Allie” and Bernice P. Hebert and preceded in death by her brothers Louis J., Lucius and Kenneth Hebert and by her grandson Dylan E. Nau. She is survived by her brothers; Russell, Roosevelt, Michael, Patrick, Emile James, Elie, Jr., Gerald and Samuel Hebert and her sisters Barbara Crothers, Lorita Henry and Judith Gautreaux.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Funeral Service at the Garden of Memories, 4900 Airline Drive; on Sunday, September 8, 2013 at 11:00 am. Visitation on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at 4:00 pm until 8:00pm and on Sunday from 9:00 am until funeral time. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
