Mary Ann Daroca Robinette

Mary Ann Daroca Robinette, age 83, passed away peacefully in the arms of her daughter on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 8:56 PM. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Kenner, LA. Beloved wife of Robert T. Robinette, Jr for 65 years. Mother of Mary Ann Morris (Ernest W. Morris, Sr.), Robert T. Robinette (Lori Robinette), Darlene DiVincent (Vincent DiVincent), Randy Robinette and the late Dolly Ann Robinette Todd. Daughter of the late Albert Felix Daroca and Ilvia Irene “Dolly” Arnold Daroca. Sister of David Phillip Daroca (the late Roseann Daroca) and the late Allen Patrick Daroca (surviving wife, Paula Daroca). Godmother of Matthew Daroca. Also survived by 14 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren and preceded in death by her grandson Ernest Wayne Morris, Jr. Mrs. Robinette had worked as a bookkeeper for Haspel Brothers, was a stay at home mom and was a parishioner of Divine Mercy Church. She loved gardening and shopping. She had a great sense of humor and was quite the comedian. She was always there for her family and will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives whose touched. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., near Clearview Pkwy., in Metairie, LA on Thursday, April 1, 2021 beginning at 11:00 AM with a funeral service to follow at 1:00 PM in Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home’s chapel.
