Mark Anthony Barnhouse

Mark Anthony Barnhouse, was born on December 1, 1956 to parents Virena (Baham) and Emery Barnhouse. He was baptized in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. He was confirmed in the Lutheran faith and was fed the life-giving blood of Jesus. Mark was united in holy marriage to Jennifer Jones on August 31, 1991 and blessed with 32 years of married life together.

On October 13, 2023, after six years of battling colon cancer, God called Mark home to heaven.

He is survived by his wife, Jennifer; his daughter Danielle (Trey) and grandchildren Braden and Ellie; son Mark and family; sisters Jo Ann, Denise and Stefani; brother Emery along with several close in-laws, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by Virena, Leroy and loving step-father Lloyd Tycer. Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to St John Lutheran Church, New Orleans.

A service will be held at St John Lutheran Church, 3937 Canal Street, New Orleans on October 28, 2023 at 1pm, followed by an open reception in the St John Fellowship Center to celebrate Mark’s life.
