Marjorie Treleaven

Marjorie Hayes Stone Treleaven Daughter of Samuel Payne Stone and Rena Varina Hayes Stone passed away Saturday November 10th 2012. Beloved Wife of the late Harold Treleaven Jr. Loving Mother of Harold (Trip)Treleaven III (Wife Ricki Jill) and Lundy T. Ryan (Husband Shawn) Proud Grandmother of Shawn Patrick Ryan Jr., Marjorie Ann Ryan, Mason Davis Ryan, Shanley Belle Treleaven, and Shelley Angle Treleaven.

Graduate of Louise S. McGehee School where she was a Beta Alpha Gamma. Attended Newcomb College where she was a Kappa Kappa Gamma. Marjorie was a long time member of the Orleans Club and Southern Yacht Club.

Her live long interest in the arts lead her to an early career as a draftsman and progressed to a long time affiliation with St. Charles Avenue Presbyterian Church making banners, murals and other art projects. She also owned Finders Keepers Antiques for many years.

Marjorie’s humor, kindness and fun loving spirit will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Services will be held Thursday November 15th, 2012 at St. Charles Avenue Presbyterian Church. Visitation at 2pm followed by Memorial service at 3pm.
