Marilynn Rita Dougherty Lacour

She was the mother of Thomas D. Lacour (Mary), Denise Butler (Michael), Sharon Delyea, Karen Lemoine (Wayne), Michael Lacour (Becky), John Lacour (Tara) and Lauren Rayes (Steven). She is survived by 20 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild, and 3 step grandchildren and 5 step great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Edward J. and Mary Koehler Dougherty, and her daughter, Katherine Jones.

Marilynn was a faithful member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help parish in Kenner, La. where she served her God with loving devotion, generosity and enormous faith.

She was a devoted wife and mother. Her loving spirit and kindness will be missed by all.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation on Sunday, September 22, 2013 at the Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, La. From 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, September 23, 2013 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Kenner, La. at 11:00 am, with visitation from 10:00 am until Mass, there will be a Rosary prior to Mass. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery.
